    realtimellc,

what kind of web based products are you going to market to lawyers? Are you looking to work with all lawyers or are you trying to specialize? Also what country are you located in? Are there any other challenges or solutions you are having trouble with as it relates to reaching this market? The more information you supply our experts the better. Thanks for the update. Is there anything else I can do for you?

    Your Servant, Deremiah, *CPE

    Hi realtimellc,

If you are in the USA, the American Bar Association has chapters in every state, and every state has a website where they list contact information on law firms.

Some, depending on the state, give more information than others.

Also, American Business Journals publishes the "Book of Lists" in their major markets, this will list the top law firms with contact information.

    https://www.bizjournals.com/bookoflists/

You can also find contact information at Find Law at:
    https://www.findlaw.com/

There are more, but that should keep you busy for awhile.

    I hope that helps.

InfoUSA is good, ReferenceUSA is good, the Dun & Bradstreet Million Dollar Directory is a good source, local bar associations publish directories, Yahoo Classifieds lists attorneys,www.switchboard.comlists attorneys, ZAPdata and other online sources can provide info, the yellow pages lists attorneys... a comprehensive list will have names from multiple sources - you will need a good import procedure in place to avoid duplicate entries, and a good way to deal with multiple attorneys at each firm.

Each source has advantages and disadvantages: in my area, the bar association directory lists email addresses and web sites, but does not have demographic data, I have found the D&B Million Dollar Directory info to be accurate for demographics (revenue, # empl, HQ or branch) but less accurate for contact names, I have found ReferenceUSA to be less accurate for demographic data but to be more accurate for URLs and contact names...

Be careful about the spelling of firm names. Some lists truncate names, and lists of partners change occasionally.

My suggestion would be to start by calling or visiting your local business library. Your city or county library system probably has paid subscriptions to some helpful sources.
