Help...with Name For Pet Sitting Business

Hello Everyone!!!

My name is Paulina and I live in suburb of Toronto (Richmond Hill), Canada. My sister is a veterinarian and over the last few months she has been referring me people from her vet clinic for pet sitting (pets were at my home). It has worked out great...i love pets and frankly appreciate the extra cash, but I need to print up some business cards and think of a business name so that she could hand them out when people ask. I live about 10 minutes from the vet clinic she works at. I am wondering if anyone can suggest any NAMES for my business as well as any appropriate tag lines. I am willing to pet sit at either other people's homes or mine, and I am open to pet sitting all types of pets. I want something to catchy, to the point but also something that transmit a feeling of love and trust and professional service. I am also wondering if I could or should use my sister as an accessory to my business and if i should include that on the business cards.

P.S- I want to definitely include "pet sitter/pet sitting) somewhere in the name to indicate that i am not a pet spa, inn or resort etc.

    If you want something catchier:

    Pet Pal
    Pet Au Pair
    Pet Nanny
    Pet's Best Friend
    Your Place or Mine Petsitting

    Except for the last one, your tag could be:

    Your place or mine petsitting.

    For the last one, how about:

    No one will love your pet more.

    Hi Paulina,
    Congratulations on starting your new business. Picking a name is an important step - please don't stop there. For the dogs that will be in your care and the owners who will entrust their babies to you...you owe it to them and your business to be the best pet sitter you can be!


    How about something like:
    Family Pet Sitting
    A Family Of Pet Care Providers
    Pet Care From a Family You can Trust

    *you could also brand your sisters vet clinic name with your pet sitting business if you both agree to be connected that way.

They offer free biz cards for the cost of shipping and have a great deal on their facebook page for 80% off of their premium biz cards (just search for giggleprint on facebook. They have some cute designs related to the animal care industry.

    I liked the Pet Nanny idea and thought you could use the tagline: Where your pet can Come, Sit, & Stay!

    I also think Paulina's Pettsitting is the best. People who leave their loved pets with other folks, need a secure and warm vibe from the service provider and therefore I think you should use your name in the business name. It give it a much more personal feeling.

    I guess you'll need to make flyers, magnet, business cards or other stuff, so you'll need a rather short and catchy name. By the way, I saw someone commeted here about a prinitng site: there is a site -https://www.dcp-print.comwho offer 250 free business cards and you pay for the shipping only. This could help you in your new venture.

    Another name to consider:
    Name: Sit, & Stay!
    Tag line: Pet sitting by Paulina or Paulina's pet care

    Just in case you want to branch out into grooming... You can even set up a deal with a local groomer to come by or you to drop them off for service.

    Sit & Stay
    家样式散养哒ycare & Boarding

    You already have a number of service like this so you need to fide a way to set your self apart from them.

    Too funny, before reading everyone's post (which I normally do) I thought of Pet Nanny too.....nice job
