I Need A Name For An Hr Consulting Business.

Posted byjfgillaspieon 250 Points
I am starting an HR Consulting Business and need a solid name. I wanted to use Strategic HR, but that name has been taken. My business will be dealing with a wide range of HR issues; it would almost be like contracting an HR generalist rather than keeping one in house.

My name is James Steele Gillaspie and would be great to incorporate into the business name; but I'm not married to the idea. I really need some amazing suggestions and as I am really stuck. Thank you!

In a field such as yours, most of the obvious names are taken, so you'll need to be a little flexible. A specific marketing locale or name can help out. For example:

    415HR (based on area code)
    GemStateHR (based on state)
    BellevueHR (based on city)
    SteeleHR (based on name)

Business names such as these are distinctive and often available as a dot-com, which is a must if you want your business to be easily found and solid looking. If the name alone doesn't do the whole job for you, then add a tagline that completes the description, such as:

    Professional Human Resources Experts

    Hope that's helpful.

Strategic - Comprehensive - HR Services

Many successful professional service firms use the name or names of the founders along with a tagline. You have a distinctive name that is memorable. The tagline is just a "shot in the dark", and will probably need some refinement based on your market research.

    hope this helps,

    Steve
