How Do You Call...

Posted by Anonymous on 300 Points
The shoppers that visit, examine, run a demo, but don't buy?
I am looking also for a term defining the action such as "window-shopping", "teleshopping", etc...

I guess you could call them:

    - Browsers
    - Tyre-kickers
    - Information-gatherers
    - Trolley-abandoners

But my question is... Why don't you ask them why they didn't buy?

或do you think maybe you are actually attracting the wrong people in the first place?

Is this related purely to on-line window-shoppers, or IRW shoppers?

Tire kickers, browsers, suspect customers, trial and errors, sniffers, drive by browsers, surfers, lookers, testers,....

and of course, if they look and don't buy....they remain, prospects.

I've always called these prospects "window shoppers" or "tire kickers." Is the objective to coin a new word or find a word that everyone will immediately recognize and understand?
