I have a 65 year old PGA golf coach that has to generate qualified leads for golf outings at the country club he just started working for.

The challenge is he doesn't have very much money or time to make this happen.

你会怎么做如果你是他,也很少吗resources at your disposal. The golf season is already here.

    Hi gstromberg,

the rule is when you don't have lots of money you have lots of time. So there seems to be a problem but there are a lot of opportunities.

    ALL MONEY PROBLEMS ARE RELATIONAL
首先从未有ney problem that's not relational or a money problem that you can't solve just a CREATIVE IDEA Problem you have to manage.

    Second of all

One opportunity they could capitalize on is his current relationships at the country club. He can began this process as long as he has at least one successful Gong-Ho Raising Fan!

1.) Begin one customer at a time.

2.) Find out what brought the client to this place where they depend on your services to be satisfied.

3.) Capatilize off of the knowledge and began to attract other customers.

Second opportunity they could capitalize on is his current relationships at the local Chamber. If he doesn't have any join the local Chamber and start some customizes

No money and no time usually mean no luck...

However, what does he have? Does he have acccess to the current membership database or membership applications? If so what information is available?

It would be a stroke of good fortune if the database or applications had a field where the members' place of employment was listed.

If that were available, he could start by tabulating the number of members are employed at which local companies.

Then put together programs for those companies that would allow them to take advantage of the club's ammenities.

He could approach the CEO, HR or employee committees.

He could also look to see which groups have used the club and develop a profile to help qualify his prospects.

There are no shortcuts - no time & no money means he's going to have to put in some sweat!

    Good Luck

Generally speaking, there is a ton of info in previous questions, if you know how to look... in the upper right, you can "search questions" for Golf - but it is more powerful to Google the site, e.g. Google:

    allintitle: golf site:www.369da.com/ea

This will give you a series of discussions in the expert exchange where the title contains Golf

I still like my idea as presented in the previous question:)

Options are also to work at a lower level with the golf caddies and other individuals who work on a daily basis with the golfers. Offer a percentage of sale to all individuals who bring a qualified consumer.

Work with the local golf outlets. Spend x amount dollars in store and receive a saving on the Golf outing. Maybe get the golf outlet to sponsor the outings. Its a win win for both

Also how about a Golf challenge and the winner receives the outing free for him and a partner. Nothing like stimulating the ego of a challenge to increase the awareness of an event

Also if he belives in the quality of these outings and he has a small budget to cover it, he could do the first one free and then use the testimonials and recommendations to further promote the next events

    Hope this helps

These are an interesting "give away". But only after he's talked with someone who is very serious.

If it were me? I would leave the course every day and visit another course...walk around their parking lot and talk to people coming or going. Public courses are good for this because people change their cleats in the parking lot.

If i were in your clients position i would have taken the advantage of advertising in free Classified newspapers, classified newspapers are very cheap or cost some few dollars and its having a very high and vast reach, but Before you go out with your campaign touches, you need to have a Well-planned process in place to capture the inquiries so they can be Fulfilled, qualified and managed properly.
Campaign inquiries come through a variety of media, among them are
    Mail:
    Telephone:
    Fax:
    Email:
    Web:

Then qualify the responses and measure your campaign results. happy prospecting

    Hey gstromberg,

any kind of what I call a "Leave Behind" becomes a great tool anytime you can do this. So leave behind a short but simple pamphlet like "Everything You Should Have Learned About Golf in Kindergarten but Didn't" or "10 Things That Bad Golfers Do". Any product you give away for Free will bring back return if written well and simple.
