Target Group Selection

For a chain retail shop which one will be the primary & secondary target group if we describe them on demographic basis?

    Don't use demographics. Define primary consumer by personality, you will find it much more useful and potentially wider than demographic mesaurements

    ...but whether you describe them by demographics or personality, the primary target group is the segment you want to target above all others.

    Your secondary target is the segment you will also serve, but is not included in the primary target group.
