The reportwas based on data from a survey of 2,000 professionals in the United States.
Some 39% of respondents agree that they would be deterred from accepting a job offer if the company's political stance opposes their own, 35% disagree, and 25% have no opinion.
Men are much more likely than women to say they would be deterred from accepting a job offer if the company's political stance opposes their own.
Some 47% of workers age 25-34 say that they would be deterred from accepting a job offer if the company's political stance opposes their own, compared with just 30% of workers age 55+.
Some 29% of workers agree that they would be prompted to leave a job if the company's political stance opposes their own, 46% disagree, and 25% have no opinion.
Women are much more likely than men to say they would not leave a job if the company's political stance opposes their own.
Younger workers are much more likely than older workers to say they would leave a job if the company's political stance opposes their own.
