Know-How Exchange : Student Questions

Hello! Actually I´m thinking about a proper theme for my diploma thesis in trade marketing. I was offered an "empirical analysis of listing decisions for new products in food retailing. Now I´m not quite sure which concrete topics to analyze. There´s a wide range but I´m afraid to choose issues which lead to obvious results and therefore are boring. Because of that I would be really really gratefull for any usable hints concerning "exciting" topics. Thanks a lot!!
