Printing Website As Brochure?

Has anyone ever seen a feature on a website where you could click a link to print the entire site as a brochure? Is this a programming feature? We would like to be able to have visitors print our web pages, but want to make sure the layout is preserved.

    I could cut and paste a bunch of stuff, but I think you're better off just Googling "CSS print version" and finding resources that speak best to you.

    Seems like a good place to start.

    Thanks Inbox. I tried Googling "Print website as brochure," but all I got were a bunch of links to printing companies. I'll give your suggestion a try.

    Wouldn't it make sense to have a link to a PDF of a print ready brochure that people can download and print?

    That's the most sensible way to do it my humble opinion. You could hire on a flash developer to make you a virtual brochure that formats its self for print, but that might be a cost-ineffective way to achieve the same result as with aforementioned.

    The issue with the PDF, as I see it, is that you will either have many PDFs for the various pages or sections, or you will have one giant PDF when someone might not want the whole thing.

    Another problem with doing a static PDF is that every time you change the site's content, you will need to do a new PDF. If you use CSS, you won't have to do that.

    Susan, my boss would like visitors to be able to print the site. She frequently prints off web pages of interest and the printed version is cut off.
